MSCDA was formed by concerned parents and interested individuals seeking to improve the lives of persons affected by sickle cell disease in Maryland. MSCDA seeks to work collaboratively with patients, families, healthcare providers, federal and state agencies and other community based organizations to promote advocacy, education, research and excellent healthcare delivery.
